The New Forest is the most beautiful area of southern England which includes one of the largest remaining tracts of unenclosed pasture land, heathland and forest.
It is very reachable from Mudeford by car and its towns and villages are well worth a visit.
Within closest proximity are the villages of Burley and Brockenhurst and the small town of Lyndhurst. Slightly further afield is the magnificent 9000 acre Beaulieu estate and the small hamlet of Buckler’s Hard which lies within the estate on the Beaulieu river.
